Andy Richard ('91)
Andy Richard is a Managing Director in Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Credit Suisse. As Head of U.S. REITs, he is responsible for the bank’s coverage of public and private real estate companies. During his career, he has originated and executed as lead coverage banker strategic transactions for many of the leading REITS and financial sponsors in the U.S., as well as for companies in such countries as Canada, Mexico, U.K., France, Germany, Finland, Russia, Greece, and Egypt. Before joining Credit Suisse in 2011, he spent ten years at Goldman Sachs in New York and London, where he was Head of EMEA Real Estate; and four years at Lehman Brothers in real estate and in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Richard graduated from Stanford with an A.B. in English with Honors, and earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar. He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife and two daughters.
