Bill Huck ('72, MBA '81)
Common Bond Capital Partners is an opportunistic investor that acquires developing real estate that has stalled due excessive municipal bond debt. The company attracts and provides fresh capital and real estate development expertise to turn-around stalled developments and re-structure defaulted bond issues. Common Bond is presently invested in projects in California, Florida and Virginia. Prior to founding Common Bond, Mr. Huck was a Managing Director at Stone & Youngberg LLC, a San Francisco-based investment bank. Throughout his career as a public finance banker and member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Huck helped guide Stone & Youngberg to 25 consecutive years as the Number One-ranked underwriter of California municipal bond issues. Bill earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a MBA from Stanford University. Between terms of study at Stanford, he served seven years as a U.S. Navy pilot.
