Dick’s two primary focuses: 1) Real estate: Has been a principal in $7 billion of R.E. funds.  Founded GRA, LLC – had 13-year JV with Alliance Bernstein.  Sold GRA to Schwab.  Now creating innovative institutional REIT strategy.  2) Wine/Vineyards: Founded Premier Pacific Vineyards, largest U.S. vineyard developer, selling grapes to 100 top wineries.  Co-founded two wine brands – Expression (Pinot Noir) and Tetra (Proprietary Red).  Congressman Mike Thompson named Dick to ‘Vintners Hall of Fame Stewards.’  Authored two real estate investment books. Was an adjunct professor at both Stanford and U.C. Berkeley business schools.  Served on the California Senate’s ‘Commission on Shareholder Rights.’  Earned BA from the University of Illinois graduating Phi Beta Kappa; and Stanford MBA.
