Ryan Barnes ('97)
Ryan is a Managing Director at American Infrastructure MLP Funds, a $2 billion investment firm with a focus on non‐traditional real property such as toll bridges, cemeteries, landfills, cell towers, mobile home parks, gas stations, marinas, and education facilities. Ryan has over 17 years of experience and has executed more than 50 transactions worth over $5 billion. Previously, he was a Partner at SkyBridge Capital, a $7 billion global alternative investment firm. He was also a Director of Strategic Development at Soleil Securities Group, an institutional brokerage firm backed by Bain Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners. Ryan began his career in the leveraged finance group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and was later an investment banker at Wit Capital where he oversaw the operations of its 140‐person Japanese joint venture. He holds a BA in Economics and a minor in Asian Languages from Stanford University.
